KNOWLEDGE BELL
By Paul Warner
I use the Knowledge Bell as my
reminder/Notebook. In the past I have found some interesting astrological
criteria, written it down on a piece of paper, only to find it after the next
occurrence. Personally I look more at markets than individual stocks and living
in the UK I watch the UK market most of all. I have two Knowledge Bell files
saved for the market. One is long term, one short term. Because of the lack of
real long term data except for the Dow and because the Dow and the UK market
has a close correlation I use the Dow with London Stock Exchanges 1st
Deed Chart to create my Long Term Knowledge Bell and FT30 Index for short term.
There are two methods of creating a
Knowledge Bell file. Either manually through SuperSearch, or by using the
Statistic Expert, (on the Step 3 page Result press the ‘Bell’ Button.)
I will show you how to do a manual
Knowledge Bell. Once you have seen how to do this to create on from the
Statistic Expert is fairly intuitive.
Then press the Bell button:

You will then see the next screen:

Select File and the New:

Create a file name and Save.
Go into SuperSearch.
Create an event e.g.

Clicking on A will show a pull down menu with five possible status, two up two down and Attention (useful if an aspect produces useful if an aspect produces a top or bottom). In ‘Brief information’ (B) you can write what you want about the aspect. I have created my own little code e.g
BUY –30 to –1 100% P5.43%
SELL 0 to 29 80% P4.62%
This tells me info I have got from Efficiency Test. If I bought 30 days before culmination to 1 day before, it was 100% correct and produces an average profit of 5.43%. (When looking in Efficiency Test for longer term Aspects etc. I use period of 60 days to get a feel of trend. Sometimes you can get better play off between Optimised Profit or Optimised Risk by using you own dates Easiest to change this with the arrow buttons next to the Trading Strategy days in the profit info screen. Its worth experimenting).
